Stuff I Like. Mostly stuff that I just decide on a whim that I won't be posting on twitter. Yet my tumblr updates my twitter when I post, nullifying my previous statement. I am a strange fellow.
AskFirst real world test of my emergency power loss/server situation worked PERFECTLY. The server safely unmounted the Drobo, shut it self down, and stayed safe through whatever mayhem caused the power to go out in the first place. I got home, restarted the server, and everything came up like nothing happened. Had this been an instance where I was away, the Server would automatically attempt a restart everyday at Midnight. Exactly what I wanted.

I love things like this. I want to do this for a living. Make things (better) and then make videos about them with huge telephoto lenses and video cameras in fake squirrels.

I don’t know what happened with my previous post…
I got my photostrip from Wink today, and it’s really nice! The photos are really high res; I’d definitely recommend it for only $2.50.
So excited for the 7th! SPPPPPPARKFUN.
1. Lose weight. I don’t really care how, I just want to be healthier.
2. Make things again. I used to make stuff in the garage all the time with my Dad, and then I got a computer. :/ I want to combine the two this year, and ultimately build a home entry system (I’ve already designed it in my mind) controlled by my Mac Mini.
3. Do better in school. I’ve never been interested in graduate programs before, but now I just want to finish school and go apply at ITP @ NYU.
4. Practice drumming more. I’ve already kind of started building up my chops (and blisters), but I’m going to get a little more serious about it now. I’m going to start making music again too. Works nicely with the class I’m taking….
5. Save more money.
Off to clean the garage. Making space for projects.
